I pretty much love all Top Hat amplifiers, but I prefer the ones with EL84's to the ones with 6L6 or 6V6 tubes.

Maybe it's just me, but in my opinion, it seems like a Top Hat is supposed to have EL84's.

I don't know their whole line off the top of my head, but are you referring to the Club Deluxe?

Anyhow, I think they all sparkly nicely, but the bottom end of the EL84 amps just sounds better to me.

Check out the little four watt amp if you can; I think it's called the Prince Royale, and it's not expensive.

The Super isn't very copmmon it seems. You might go check out the forum on the Top Hat site for opinions. I'm sure it's a nice amp, you just need to figure out if that's the Top Hat configuration you want.

I've had the King and Club Royales, and a Club Deluxe. Those guys make great amps.
