Can anyone comment on these Ferrite/Alnico Fane 15s for bass guitar ? FANE AX15-300B

Don't know anything about them. But going by the parameters it looks like the -3dB cutoff would be around 60Hz in a ported box. Kinda excludes the bottom octave. Is that normal for bass cabinets? 100Hz in a sealed cabinet. Probably not the sort of thing you'd want if you're looking for deep tones. Thomas |

i'm facing this one as well... for my yba-2b...guitar tho i'll probably try it with bass and keys.. there's a 15" jbl alnico i'm going to try...get back at this if the fane(sp?) works out.. i'll let you know |

I'm guessing from the dimensions of the Ampeg that its internal volume is about 4 cubic ft. So, the Delta Pro would have more bass.

Not a big difference between the two, but the Gamma would probably sound a little over damped.
