Same happened to me. Paid for a used one from Sonic Circus and they ended up sending me a brand new one for $1100

i got my tube tech smc 2b only for some months now.
just tried it on dance drums and liked it a lot too! good advice ... ;-)

for the 2bus i like the alan smart c2 followed by the smc 2b.
imho they both work great together. did you ever tried that?
