I never have been in Switzerland. Now I have to be in Zürich next weekend, any recommendations what to see there? Any good gearstore?

Zürich is a very beautiful city with the big lake and its surrounding mountains. There are many wide rivers floating through the town and you can sometimes see huge trout swimming in them. In the summer people go swimming everwhere in town because the water is very clean. Last time I was there I rented a small little motorboat and cruised the lake for some hours. I love Zürich in the summer, right now I think it's still very cold. I will also be in Zürich within the next couple of weeks and I still haven't been to any of their musicstores so I'll be following this thread! It is indeed very expensive, and if you're gonna stay in a hotel, try book it as early as possible, they are often fully booked and you end up paying a fortune... I guess the only gear worth buying in Switzerland are watches. So if you just had a goldrecord and need a Breitling... |

Jules Verne bar is a great place to hang. There is a telescope at the top of the bar and the 2nd level has windows all around the tower where you can see the city in all directions. The old city has architecture over 1000 years old, and some great hole in the wall bars. There is cuisine from all over the world as well a some of the best wines in Europe (all from surrounding countries). Take the train to Lucerne for the day and get above the clouds, Zurich is cloudy this time of year. Chocolate, you have to bring some home. It's the best. Swiss watches by the way, are cheaper here in the US. |

Studjo's studio in Switzerland. He has diffusors with Cheese Holes in it.... Oh, he's got 4 distressors. Two that he bought from a famous engineer.

On the other, I wonder why anyone who can't hear a difference is recording, mixing, or producing records. -DAVE MARTIN thumbsup |
