DB - Cripple Crow recording

Devendra Banhart's record Cripple Crow is overall a great retro sounding record, but I am specially interested in the vocal chain. Does anyone have any info on this recording?
It was recorded at Bearsville and they shure have a lot of great gear and spirit.

Yeah...I love the sound of that record. The kind of sound I often aspire to actually. There was a thread on TapeOp that primarily commented on the 'verb that was used being quite nice. No one offered much insight on the recording process...maybe someone here will. Heck, you could probably e-mail Devendra or the Vetiver guy and just ask 'em...

I have DB on my myspace, but i don't think he even manages it himself... I actually have yet to get that record, but i've heard a few songs and completely love it. Have You guys seen it pressed on vinyl? I would prefer to buy the 12" over the cd... also, have a link for bearsville?

My friend Thom Monahan produced it. He's actually in NYC this week. I will ask him what they used on the session.

I produced a two tracks with Devendra a few months ago.
We did nothing special except put a coupla' mics up
in front of him. The rest is in him.

Super guy and band to work with. Couldn't be a better experience.

I like Cripple Crow too.
