sharing studio-space in berlin

need to get the studio out of my flat and looking for a serious space to make it happen. there must be some people with the same ambitions here. i am open to talk about all kind of suggestions like:

- separated controllrooms but building and sharing a recordingroom...

- joining and sharing our studios ( needs even more serious talking )

- sharing info about suitable places to rent in berlin

- or just rent space together but build complete seperated

i need ca. 30 squaremeters for my controllroom...the whole studio would be 70-100 squaremeters

i'm not sure if it'll work with us but we've been thinking in the same direction, have a 110 sq meter space in xberg, have a recording booth and large office space.

you should check with Peter Schmidt and the folks at Teldex - they've plenty of room and are very forward-thinking in regard to studios and how poeple work today, not 20 years ago.

There's a pretty cheap space available in my house:

- 104 square meters
- 4th floor
- toilet, small kitchen
- f'hain, near warschauer brücke
- rent: approx. € 650 per month

Right now, there are still some left-overs from a former call center.
Mainly thin plaster walls; these can be torn down though.
In other words: Some work needs to be done.

I am thinking of moving to Berlin and wondering if any of you guys had success finding space to rehearse and record.. and if so which areas or types of property are the best for a home project studio (potentially with drums!)
