Thread Starter | My new setup:advice please! Ok have bought some juicy new outboard and am ready to setup, i still have some low end motu convertors but they are getting swapped out for apogee in the next couple o months. Basically speaking i want to know the most effecient way for incorporating my outboard with my new desk and logic. Heres the setup: Amek bc3 (12mono channels/12 stereo,4 groups) 8 in 8 out firewire interface Urei 1178 Amek cib dbx 160a Avalon U5 Mpc3000 16 analog synths I also have some decent patchbays (jackfiled to xlr) How would you guys incorporate the outboard? Im gonna have 8 outs coming out of logic running into the bc3 from the interface. Where would you place the urei so that it can be used across drums but also be used for tracking in mono as well? Bus or over main outs? Any suggestions please |

| A patchpay would be the most flexible solution. |
