Hey Guys,

Can the protective vinyl which covers the foam be replaced? Anyone know of a link where I can purchase this?

Thanks in advance.

sony National Parts Center
8281 NW 107th Terrace
Kansas City Mo 64153
(800) 331-6679
Fax (800) 821-5662

It's been a while since I got my Sony parts from Sony directly
so this may be a bit out of date.

Hey blotted: I have a few pairs of AKG K240's with the same problem. Do you know if those things or some other aftermarket thing would fit those too?

Other than the surrounds falling apart the headphones are ready for 100000 more miles.

sorry max, don't think the Beyer pads will fit. if memory serves, K240 has round ear pads, no?

7506/Beyer are oval shaped..

good place to ask around is head-fi forums. that's where i learned about 7506 pads.

you might wanna check here:

Sony Parts and Accessories - Home

my sony v900 foam is completely flattened and chipping. they are over 10 year old headphones and out of print, but replaced by some 900HD model. they sell replacement cups for those so i guess they might fit. it's only $20/pair, but i hope they come with instructions cos i too have no idea how to replace them.

That could be a good idea to recycle the old, unusable scratched vinyls to manufacture the 7506 vinyl cushions....
By the way:
European Election results = Green wave ! for Ex, in Paris: Ecology 27%, Republican (la droite): 30%, democrate (la gauche) 14,5%.....

Then how do I replace these stuffs please ?
