Thread Starter | Charts and Lyrics Handy? I may be the last guy on the planet to think of this, but I just realized that with 30 minutes work, I could have a number chart and lyrics of every song on this project saved in the Cubase SX2 "notepad". I put the lyrics on the lead vocal track notepad so I can follow along with the singer while looking at the screen after opening the notepad in the inspector window. I then copied and pasted the lyrics - and typed in a number chart - onto to a "lyric/chart track so I can open it while overdubbing on other tracks. I suppose you could write comments and keep on top of takes when doing comps by typing the info in...hmmm. New to me...very useful. It takes some effort to do the typing, but I like the benefit of having a chart and lyrics that are saved in the same spot as the tracks... until the DVD backup dies.
