anybody tried a Faust???

I'm looking for an AWESOME mic for male vox/ acoustic guitars. I want that expensive produced pro sound. (rock/dance)

has anybody( in the USA) tried the Hand Crafted Labs

Faust mic?

I heard the clips, but i want some actual customer feedback if I'm gonna get one.

i'd prefer to hear from just customers on this one.

ok, H.D.L.?

The mic sounded awesome in the shoot-out, btw.

I use mine when I want something to punch through a dense mix.

Even from the samples on their own website, I liked Neumanns better..

i am using my "faust" for 4 month now!
i record mostly hiphop vocals and some r&b singing...
i like the sound and the presence in a mix is amazing!
i´m impressed how smooth it is recording "s" sounds
and i love boosting high frequencies to give the vocals more brilliance
without harshness!
no matter how hard some of my clients scream into this thing,
the sound always remained smooth in a way!thumbsup
to be honest,i replaced a "low rep" tlm 103 with faust....i do not look back.
i compared it to a newer u87 mic and it sounded better (IMO)
(less agressive,more present)
