| Ampex 351 Load with Ribbons hi all, i noticed on the royer website: "if the microphone has an output impedance of 300-Ohms, the preamplifier should have an actual input impedance of at least 1200-1500 Ohms, or greater." the ampex 351 manual says that it's mic input impedance is 150 to 250 ohms nominal and the balanced bridge is 300K ohms. does this mean that the ampex 351 mic input won't work well with a royer, or does 150 ohms nominal translate to a different "actual input impedance" value? |
