Thread Starter | 512 KB Cache Vs. 1MB
Two G5s, both dual processor 2GHz. One of them has 512 KB cache, and the other one has 1KB. Does it matter? One's cheaper. Thanks, Mychal |

Yes....it matters. On die/full speed cache...assuming it's full speed...is ALWAYS better in larger quantities. Get the 512k. Especially if your not going to be using some sort of plug-in dsp card. ie: protools-core/tc powercore. |
