urs or waves ssl 4000

im broke and this is a tuff decision for me......
anyone have experience with these 2 plug bundles to give me some opinions on quality or whats closer to analog?

There's quite a few threads with mp3 examples if you wish to compare and contrast...

From my personal experience auditioning both plugs on my system I preferred the Waves plug. In fact, as much as I wanted to dismiss the Waves plug with it's flashy GUI, it really proved itself worthy in the sonics dept IMO.

That said, I have a hardware version and I didn't opt to purchase either of the plugs.

I have the URS version I may sell you (native) if you want. I havn't tried the waves one, although the URS does mean no WUP!
