anyone need a welder - metal machinist?

Hey Slutz!
I know this is the wrong forum, but this is urgent. A fellow Gearslut (not me - I'm german) is in desperate need for a job. His resume is below.
We're not asking for money, this is getting sorted out.

The guy (I won't disclose his name here) is located in Bridgeport, Connecticut but willing to move. He's an expert welder and metalworker.

So if anyone has contacts in that region that could lead to any sort of employment, please drop me a line.

Thanks so much in advance!

N.B.: Of course I know this is the wrong forum. But this is dead serious! The guy is in acute danger of losing the roof over his head. I'd rather risk a ban than not trying to help him.

Objective
I am seeking a challenging position with opportunity for advancement and achievement. I am a motivated self-starter who thrives on learning new skills --”a day in which you learn something is not a day wasted.”
I have nearly 35 years experience working with metal. The majority of this was as a TIG & MIG Welder, and as a Machinist and Mechanic. Most of my welding experience is TIG welding of steel, stainless steel, aluminum, Inconel, magnesium, and titanium, etc., although I have nearly as much experience with MIG welding of steel. I know how to operate a number of machines including: manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, etc., as well as use precision measuring instruments. I also have experience doing lay-out and fit-up as an integral part of my welding and machining work.
Additionally, I have 40 years in mechanical drafting experience, and over 20 years CAD/CAM/CAE experience using a number of different programs.
