Best pumpin compressor for dance music?

I'm getting back into dance music and come from akais and ataris back in the day through mixing desks from the early 90s

Then moved onto Acid Pro and Ableton.

However I do find plugs a little too clean even the ones that emulate hardware so am looking for a good cheap dirty compressor for pumpin the 2 track master

I have had a couple of 3630s in the past which were fine and cheap but just wondered if there was anything else to check out in the same vein?

I have just picked up an old s3000'sampler again which is nice and brittle sound for loops so would like a dirty compressor to go with it

Is the 3630 still the best at this even though I know it's the most hated thing on the planet !

Is the original behringer mdx2000 composer any good?

I read somewhere that daft punk use one alongside the now famous interview where they had a 3630!

I did have the 2100 composer but felt the gates and the compression wasn't snappy enough for this effect, so maybe the earlier one is? (apparently had same insides as some of the Drawmer models??)

Oh that's easy. The Alesis 3630 of course, or perhaps their Micro-Limiter from 1987.
