What's a good entry level converter for DAW?

Hi

I have a LynxOne card, and although it sounds pretty good, I was wondering if I should bother getting a dedicated converter. I am recording my first album at home.

If so, what converter is good that doesn't bust the budget up too much? Will there be a noticable difference, or am I getting to precious here?

Thanks!

Shaun

Far as I know the Lynx stuff is pretty good stuff. You'd have to spend a pretty penny to do alot better. How much dough you got? How many channels do you need?
