USB audio interface with many USB items attached?

I have many things attached via USB. (3 midi controllers, mouse, webcam, and keyboard) Will these effect my sound with a USB audio interface? Any pops, cracks etc from having so much stuff running all on USB? IF so should I get a firewire adaptor for my pc and go that route or will the firewire still be effected because the PCI is apart of the same pathway as the USB? or vice versa?

I know most of you will insist on firewire to begin with but i am picking a USB audio interface for use with my laptop that has no firewire (PC) and as a master control for my main PC.

Edit: What I mean about pops and clicks is will the Interface being used as a sound card w/ master volume control for my Studio monitors be stable for audio playback from my DAW? Not the recording aspect.

It should be okay, as long as you don't connect the Interface to some kind of USB hub. It should be connected directly to the computer

Thankx

Also thinking of this, NuForce Icon uDAC-2 (Black) Headphone Amp and USB DAC (24bit/96kHz) or something like it. Strictly a DAC for mastering on main pc and portable use on my laptop

Edit: I could either buy a focusrite USB w/ pre's and I am sure it would sound ok or for more audio quality would just getting a plain USB DAC give me better audio to my monitors then the a AI with pre's like the focusrite. I would think the DAC would be better in a $200 USB DAC over a $200 Focusrite AI with Pre's and a/d-d/a converters. Being the money would solely go into the USB DAC rather than quality being divided by the multiple components in the Focusrite.
