Converters with soft limit type function

Anyone use a real kick-ass converter that has a soft limit function? Doesn't need to be high sample rate or anything, and will hopefully have an unbalanced option. I'm embarassed to say what this is for, but it involves black plastic.... And please don't say Apogee!

Thanks!

Lavry and Prism both have their own versions of limiters. Prism had the Overkiller and Lavry has analogue saturation. Weuse Overkiller or AS for most of our work and are content with the sound.

I have the Apogee Rosetta 200. I certainly didn't get it for the soft limit, but I was surprised how useful it is.
