I;m just going to bump this to make sure the daytime people get to see it. I've gotten a few replies already, but I'm sure I'll need as much help as I can get. Thanks!

Good luck Rufuss. Your rig looks awesome! Honestly, protools is easy, you'll take to it quick.

If you find you don't get any takers.. try offering tuna sandwiches + tomato soup, mexican food or money.. in that order and you may find someone!

Why not offer money and approach it in a professional, structured, 'work day' manner?

Or do s lessons for stidio time 'trade'?

Mexican food+Austin+Texas Beer=Yummy!!!

Good luck and James is right. Getting around Pro-Tools is easy. And it will probably seem very simple after using logic.

Looks like you have a nice studio going.

Haha, ok I'll up the ante to a dinner at Chuy's Tex-Mex and a six pack of Dos Equis.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. It's just that I have to get this album done soon and I know I could tear through it in Logic. In fact I did one song in Logic last night just so I could get my head around how the album was recorded.

I was feeling a bit down because they sounded pretty awful in Pro Tools, but once I got it into Logic... a little audio to score... a little Drums From Hell Superior, a little Melodyne and this song is starting to sound pro... even without a click. Back in PT these sessions are not very organized and already have a rough mix on them so I'm kind of working backwards... like why did he do that?!?

If I had someone sitting around eating mexican food that could shoot off a few answers when I needed them I'd probably get through it. But like I said, I've had a few offers, so hopefully they work out. Thanks!

Too bad you're not in the New York area, I would do it... hmmm, Tex-Mex.

Good luck.

Check your PMs if you're still looking, I always enjoy checking out new rooms in town.

No no no, Henchman. I'm trying to learn how to do it myself. But thanks for the offer.

Cool Hud, hopefully we can get together soon.

Yeah...you just need somebody to call (or post/message on GS to) if you're in a jam. The first few months can be a doozy -- easy to learn, hard to debug...

Wish you were in L.A., man. I'd come by in a second for a six-pack of Dos Equis and...what were we doing again?
