Procontrol or other DAW controller, how many faders to have

hallo there.
How many faders do you guys have with your Procontrol or other controller for doing POP /ROCK mixes?
I have a 16 fader PC myself but keep asking myself if another 8 or16 would speed up my work, Or should I keep switching bankis like I do now ?

i'm looking to buy a yamaha dm2000, which besides being an excellent mixer will get me 24 touch sensitive motorized faders. that will be great for most of what i do. i currently have a radikal sac2k which works real well, but yes i have to switch banks on it since it's 8 faders. since your answer is all a matter of personal preference you'll have to answer yourself. if you are regularly mixing projects that are more than 16 channels and mind switching banks than there are a number of other options to consider. would a control 24 do you?:

16 is fine IMHO and makes for a nice, compact footprint..

Dont have to roll around much!

Scroll that sucker

I love my C24. 24 faders is a luxurious amount and it's great having them so close to each other. I'm surprised this unit has not been more popular.

Paul's 16 track Tonelux controller looks just about perfect!

i have 32 channels of logic control in my emagic/apple rig. from a working standpoint, it's wonderful to have this many faders, and makes bank switching far less frequent than it was when i only had 16. from an appearance standpoint, it's nice to have the center strip/transport controls in the middle of the faders - the symmetry is pleasing.

I recently added a Pro Control main unit (8 faders) to my PTHD and it's great to have the faders and knobs.

I thought I would be satisfied with the 8 faders, but often it seems the bank is one or two too short.

I now feel 16 would be a good compromise.

I have 8 channels via Mackie/Logic Control.
It isnt enough really, I could use another 8-16 as well as the plugin rotary thing they do.
