Overstayer vs Distressor. Bonham thang ...

Ok I have a Distressor and I can do the "Bonham sound" with it (oddly enough with a CAD M179 out in front of the kit). Can the Overstayer do this?

Any Distressor owners know what I am talking about ...

EDIT: Oh yeah and whats up with CAD mics? Are they all this good?

No, not all CAD mics are as good as the M179 (my favourite under $600 mic for floor toms), but they do have some very good products, and they made some pretty cool mics in the past as well.

Lol ... I am talking about an Overstayer vs a Distressor. I was just using an M179 as an example. It doesnt matter what mic is involved...

I am asking if an Overstayer can do what a Distressor can do in the "Bonham" dept if you know what I mean.

If you own a Distressor you can follow the manual pretty much verbatim and get the "Bonham" sound with a decent mic (M179 being surprisingly good).

Can the Overstayer do the same thing?
