What piece of gear signified your gear lust?

I knew that gear lust had finally taken over me when I spent 350 bucks on the Jomox MBase 11 synth which does one thing, and one thing only: bass drum sounds.

And I'm thrilled to have it! thumbsup

So what piece of gear/equipment did you pick up that you knew meant you had turned a certain corner in terms of gear lust?
