Sub pitch bend sound..Roland Handsonic owners!

Hi,

Im wondering if any of you guys can help...

Im in need of a sound! Basically, check out albums by The Used. The producer uses this sample of a sub noise on the odd start of chorus's which just pitch bends down. its really deep!

im after it for a track. I noticed there was somethign like this on that Roland hand drum module thing, i think it was called the handsonic.

anyway, can anyone help me out with this sound? i dont really want to have to shell out £700 odd on the roland unit just to use a sound like that once!
