Best place to find used Pro gear ?

Can somebody help me out with links to some places that have a good selection of used pre's and compressors ? I want to stay away from Ebay because I am soo tired of all the scammers and dont want to have to worry about it.
In particular im looking for a Chandler pre and a Purple MC76/77.

I totally aggree Wallace , this is the best place but, havent had alot of luck lately finding what Im looking for here so, I figured I would ask around to inquire about a few other places I could look.

I've also found things on the classified section on harmonycentral.com

or vintageking.com

there's also the sweetwater trading post on sweetwater.com

I"m sure there are others too.

Oh... and it looks like the tapeop.com message board is back up not too. So you can search for the best compressor under $300... just kidding.
