Ugggghhhh. Lot's of gear... but in my experience... those kind of rigs sound horrible. Nothing like the guitar.... directly into a REAL guitar amp.... or Amp/Cabinet. I never heard a pre-amp/power amp combination that really knocked me dead... with the exception of one guy that was playing a Tri-Axis and Simul-290.... but I think it more that he was just and INCREDIBLE player. He could'a played through a gorilla and it would have sounded heavenly! Guitar>GeorgeL with Switchcraft connectors>[optional]pedal or two[/optional]>GeorgeL with Switchcraft connectors>Amp = Great Tone

I dont' really care for the Vetta II. With that said, I have never seem more of a reason to own one. Is it even guitar anymore at that point? Why not just play a synth. Looks like an ego trip. It sure isn't a tone trip! D |
