Thread Starter | trident 80b or trident mta arange ?
hi i just own a brent averill 1272 , but i am lookinf for something in stereo , perhaps with eq . i have an offer to buy a trident 80b or trident mta -a range (for 1450$) , both stereopreamp with eq . does anyone know , wich preamp/eq sounds better ? how do they sound in comparison to the brent averill 1272 ? |

If you're thinking about Trident you should also be looking at the Daking mic pre's. Similiar topology and they're new.

I second the Daking console over a Trident...it's new......do some searches on repairs needed to keep these older consoles in shape... Tim |
