Almost forgot about the Chandler Limited Germanium, which I guess no one can recommend, but it would be real nice to add a C.L. for under a grand.

Looks like the Great River ME-1NV is also in range at $1075.

I've never seen or heard the BG-1. Has Anyone else used it?

Mark Knopfler Just bought a rack of them, as did david gilmour. If you do a search of DAV BG-1 here you will see many other users.
As Plush says about the BG-1,"Only professionals need apply, it is that good"

What Big Ray said.
BG1 is one of those "best kept secret" things. They don't promote them a lot because they are selling them as fas as they can make them. "they" being a one-man operation, actually, it seems.

I haven't used mine a lot yet: see elsewhere for opinions from more experienced users. I was going to get a FMR RNP until I saw the "singing the praises of the BG1" thread...
