Best expression pedal

I bought a moog expression pedal to go with a moogerfooger and the pedal was a horrible overpriced POS. It was made entirely out of lightweight plastic and the pedal wasn't even mounted properly- it was crooked! Fuk them! WTF you'd think that for $40 they could have added some metal! I could flick it across the room with my finger!

Anyways

Can anyone recommend the best, most solid, most durable expression pedal?

Thank you.

I have two Toneczar modded Ernie Ball pedals that are rock solid, well worth the $150 each.
Cannot be compared to the Boss EV5, the FoxRox etc which I also have.

After the Toneczar I would check a Roctron Hex ($69.00). Looks like solid plastic, but the great advantage compared to the other typical light weight expr pedals;

"An adjustable rocker tension screw allows you to adjust the pedal action for a lighter or heavier "touch".

(Taking the foot/heavy boots on/off many of the flimsy light weight pedals will easily mess with parameters; delaytime etc)

The pedal Dunlop sells to go with the Roto-Vibe is built into the same case as a Crybaby. Pretty damn solid.

Yep, I'd avoid Tonezar if you don't want to spend your time waiting.

Did you mail Ed?
I believe that`s the present turnaround time for the Echoczar.
I would think he can do his expr pedal mods inbetween other jobs and with a short turnaround time.

I bought a Moogerfooger low-pass filter and MF expression pedal and I had a similar experience. The pedal barely lasted a week. There's a little plastic part inside that gave the pedal tension and that just ripped right off by itself.

I took my FoxRox expression pedal and hooked that up to the MF. It works great and is built very, very well. It's about the same price as the MF pedal and is smaller too.

Cannot be compared to the EV-5? Do you mean it beats the EV-5 hands down? or the other way round? Do you know anything about the EV-7?
