Mic questions...................

Has anyone used the Studio Projects stuff... C1, C3, T3......I keep hearing people talk about them but I am not convinced. Lets just call it "price issues". Cheap mics bring cheap sound or am I wrong on that one......

The other is the Korby Mic......Any one use it? Try any of the capsules?

Thanks!

jeez, one extreme to the other.

I have some C3's along with the other usual (much) more expensive mics, and I think they are good, and not just good for the money, but quite usable. The best of the China made stuff.

In fact I tracked a singer tonight for a 3 piece rock band, screamer type with a C3, sounded great, all smiles all round. (through a V72 and 1176 I admit)

PS studio Projects will have a new line soon , made in the USA.

Sure spend more money on better mic's, but they are by no means cheap cheap horrible, at all. (unlike some of the china stuff Ive heard)

Anyone use the T3? Also how's the studio projects consistency?

I want some inexpensive condensors for general miking in generally perilous spots like toms and snare.
