musings over muse receptor

Anyone with some experience with the Muse Receptor?

I have too many computers and screens here.
(2) I have built myself of special applications, Cubase SX and such.
(1) custom for GigaStudio with VSL pro stuff.
Plus a couple of off the shelf systems too.
(All broadband wireless, wirless print server, etc.)

Just want the box to have some midi controlled VST
instruments. (Small in the rack, no CRT).

Or a Open Labs NeKo. (Kinda expensive).

Or am I better just doing “yet another” computer.

receptor

I have eliminated my soft synth computer since i got receptor. It does have some bugs however and the installation process is cumbersome-----i was using plogue bidule previously as a host and i will say that it is better, but i sequence on an MPC.....if you sequence in cubase you might not like it.......and it crashes more than it should IMHO.
