Hard Rock cafe in NY used to have a VU meter shirt that was so friggen cool, but apparently they don't make it anymore. It just showed a big VU meter on the front pushing the reds and on the back it said Hard Rock NYC. I want one.

While not specifically recording, i enjoy the Moog "Tweak it til it Hz" shirts, along with the free "I'm an idiot" shirts that they are giving away if you don't like Moog products.

Yes - you need to say why it is being modelled by "The Gimp"?

I always thought the ultimate recording shirt was a blue or gray T-shirt. It might have writing or a design on it. It might not. I thought it you needed clever writing or something cool on it then maybe you're trying to make up for something else like the guy who buys the fast car or the gianormous loudspeakers.

some shirt thoughts & ideas

Somebody take a B&W of their Revox or Studer, because I can't STAND to see another Otari 5050B (even though I still have one in cold storage, next to the Tascam 4-track 1/4").

The 5050, while a workhorse, is just such a POS machine in comparison...I bet we could convince ATR to make a shirt that features one of their master decks and title it, "Make Mine Analog".

Thoughts? Suggestions? How about shirt that shows an SSL-9000, a Neve 80 series, a Trident A series, an a classic API that is titled, "Aaaah, Choices!" on the front with a U47, 251, C12, an RCA 44 and 77DX in a five-pointed star arrangement on the back?

anyone dig this concept?

I have a bunch of tshirts with interesting designs on them- some of them 'clever', I guess.
Don't think I am compensating for anything- I just like the t-shirts.
They are fun. That's all.
