What's the latest drum software?

Hi

I was talking to someone a few days ago, and they were raving about some new drum software that's out. It wasn't BFD, I think it's newer than that. I can't get hold of him, and was wondering if anyone else was aware of a new one on the market?

Thanks!

Shaun

He may be referring to DFHS (Drumkit From Hell Superior) as well as C&V (Custom & Vintage). Both are by Toontrack.

Hi Joshua

Thanks Mate. I haven't forgotten about you and your Peluso mics - I'm selling some unused gear now to fund the purchase!

Cheers!

BFD Deluxe Collection

Quote:
The BFD Deluxe Collection is the third expansion pack for FXpansion's BFD premium acoustic drum module. Unparalleled in its detail and recording quality, the Deluxe Collection was tracked at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio facility in Chicago. The pack contains some of the most sought-after drums and cymbals of all time, recorded at up to 127 velocity layers in pristine detail.
I am still very happy with BFD but this does sound rather nice, it is very new and it may be what you have been hearing about.
