WHY WONT YOU JUST DELETE?!

Using Logic Pro 7
can someone please explain to me why half of the time that i try to delete unused audio from my arrange window it prompts the question of rather or not i want to keep the audio or ..... drumrolll..... actually DELETE IT FROM MY HARD DRIVE. the other half it just sends it to the audio window. then i try to delete it from there and it disapears only to pop up in the actual audio folder in the song file on my hard drive. how do i just get rid of the damn audio i dont want?? and by get rid of it i mean actually get rid of it, banish it to the depths of my trash can never to be seen again.

Now don't ya wish you could just delete this thread?

Erase the regions from the arrange, then do a Select Unused to erase from the Audio window.

Select the actual file in the audio window that you REALLY want to vanquish and do a Delete File.

The warnings are your friend - obey them.

You can delete posts.... its another one of those things that you'll feel like an idiot when you find the button..... goto your first post.... edit.... look for "delete this post" at the top....
