| Gear addict | Hypercardioid cap for Oktava 012-anybody tried one?
In my seemingly endless quest to record acoustic guitar and vocal to seperate tracks simultaneously with minimal bleed, I got to thinking that a hypercardioid cap on one of my Oktava 012's might be the ticket for the guitar mic. I have read from several different sources that the hypercardioid pattern offers the greatest off axis rejection, so it would seem to make sense. Anybody used one and care to offer any input? Thanks.
