Quadrophenia drum sounds

I've always loved the sound of Keith's drums on Quadrophenia.

Does anyone know the details on how they were recorded? Particularly, which mikes and how were they positioned? Is this 87's into a Helios board?

A very worthy question- one of my favorite albums of all time (though the mix really left a lot to be desired). I know it was recorded at Ramport in Battersea. Here's an article that tells about the gear used a few albums later on "Who Are You".
