Plugs, maybe so !!!

I'm still a hard core hardware guy but use to raise hell about the stock PT plugs, well after getting Apogee ad16x/convertors and the BB clock and moving away from the 002 ones the convertors tell a entire different story with the plugs. The EQ, compression is usable now, have not really tried any verbs, delay....gun shy. Now the bomb factory can kiss my a**, that is a horrible plug from day one.

So I will have to tilt my hat a bit for plugs, never thought I would say that but with good clocks and conversion things sound much much better.

My plugin compressors (eg Waves CLA and the 12+ other compressors I have...) do not "grab" as much as my hardware - with the exception of the UAD 1176LN maybe. I doubt that different converters will help it...
