RPN outs to 003 rack DI balanced inputs??

Hi there, I am about to make my connections from my
FMR AUDIO RNP8380 and BLACK LION AUTEUR to my 003 rack and I want to be clear about this:

1-Can I connect the outputs of these preamplifiers to the 003 rack balanced DI inputs so I can leave analog input 5-8 free for other line level instruments?

2-If yes, would it be exactly the same (in terms of signal degradation) as connecting them to the analog inputs 5-8?

3-If yes, can I use TS cables to connect to the DI inputs without noise problems? Or shoul I just use TRS cables?

4-What are the output operating level of these 2 preamps,
+4 dBu or -10dBV?

5-If no to the first question, do I have to use TRS cables to connect from the preamp outs to the 003 analog inputs 5-8, or can I use TS cables as well with no signal degradation?

6-When connecting line level instruments to the analog 003 inputs 5-8, should I use TS cables??

7-DI inputs on the 003 are balanced connectors, how come it accepts 1/4-inch TS connections?? (I thought that balanced meant TRS!)

When in doubt, used balanced...

Why don't you buy an a/d converter and go in digital to the 003??

It will sound better and you won't have to worry about all these questions
