Motu 24I/O vs. Audiofire 12

Hi. I'm have the chance to buy a motu 24 i/o the same price as a new Echo Audiofire 12.
Soundwise, does Audiofire have significant better sound than the motu? I don't really need the 24 channels, but 16 to 18 channels of A/D-D/A would be great to me.

I prefer to buy the best sound of the two, so i would like to hear from those who used the interfaces in question.
