I missed a few pages, but has anyone mentioned the Eisen, programme EQ - the

LilPEQr ???

It sounds weird enough to say I have a LilPEQr, but to say I have TWO of them.....

they're arriving tomorrow. I'll post a pic soon.

Received my LilPEQr last week and it's been pretty great so far.
The gold faceplate is stunning.

Yeah, now I feel dirty.

I don't know if I'll get the odd, but after I get the LilPEQr's I'm definately looking to get some Actions.

Update - the LilPEQr's are stuck somewhere in the middle of nowhere on a UPS truck in inclement weather. WTF, it's 80 degrees and clear as a bell here...... This is upsetting!!!

dB - That sucks! I was trying to be funny before. Too lame?

Nathan - congrats on the Juggernaut! Very nice (and thorough) feature set. I might have to save a slot for one of those.

It's a great time to have a lunchbox with empty slots, huh! Who am I kidding - I'm going to need a Purple Sweet Ten before the end of the year. It's a sickness, I know.

so far all the pres i have reviewed ( see my website ), all worked very nice with ribbons.
i think lowest output ribbon i have is a B&O, and it is low output.
the A-Designs EM-BLUE and the P-1 both worked very nice as well, the EM-BLUE being a favorite, have not got my site update ( or completed for that matter ), but some cool reading, i will have some new reviews to post here as well as on my site very very soon.

Do you get enough gain with the Blue ? not noisy full gain ? what is the max gain for the Blue ?
My B&O is very low output also and got noises problems whan I want to record smooth voice with it, a shame because the sound is really nice !

i think the B&Os are just a bit noisy at full gain in anything.
i have a lot pres and have yet to find one that would cure the B&O inadequate output:(~
i have been chat with an individual about transformer as well as magnet upgrades.
as i understand, the magnets are weak in the B&O, this is the major issue.
i have not found the EM-BLUE to be to noisy with my B&O but then again i do not run it all out.
if i need something hot i just go to a different mic.
i am not 100% sure but as i recall it is 66 db, or 68 db of gain, i will check and see.

Looks like Radial is porting their Phrazer and JDV direct boxes over to the 500-series format...no pictures, but a few details here (scroll down)...shipping in November, retail prices $300-$350. Could be interesting.
