| Speck Electronics? Has anyone heard of Speck Electronics? I just saw some eqs on Vintage King. They look like SSL strips. I'm looking for a couple more channels of decent eq to run on things like overheads and room mics. They look interesting. Has anyone ever played around with one?

| They're great all purpose EQ's, coupled with their 5.0 mic preamp it makes a very nice channel strip too. War

| The Speck EQ is really about the best you are going to find at that price. Interesting fact about Vince Poulos of Speck: I think he told me once he used to work for Ike Turner. |

| I'll bet he has some funny stories then. Thanks for the replies. I'm a little torn because I have a certain amount to spend and I think I want to buy another pair of Avedis E15s. I really would love 4 more, but without buying an 11-space lunchbox to replace my 6-space, I only have 2 more slots. However, I need 4 more channels in all to get my drums printed the way I want. The Specks looked like some decent eqs that might get the job done. Any other opinions? Anybody that owns or at least has used these things?
