Thread Starter | SSL X-Rack E-Series Dynamics Make up Gain
I am thinking about getting an X-Rack loaded with E-Series Dynamics but I am a little thrown off that it doesn't have a manual make-up gain. Does the automatic make-up gain really work even at higher compression settings? Will I really not have a lower output, because there's really no way of doing anything if I am not satisfied with the result right? If anybody here has any experience with that maybe you could clear that up for me. Maybe I am just missing something here and worried for no reason. Oh, and I am going to use it for tracking (straight into the 96 I/O) so no fader after the module to make up for any lost gain. As well as for mixing (out and right back into Pro Tools with no console). Thanks |
