| Upgrading from Tannoy System800 Hi, I've used the System 800 for almost five years now and always been happy with my mixes. They are the passive ones powered by a Beyer Dynamic A100 power amp, and it sounds pretty good. Now if I wanted to upgrade, should I look into active models? I 'm looking for the same kind of power and frequency range, (going down to 38Hz) will the Genelec 8040 or Dynaudio be a step up ? Thanks, Jean |

| What's your budget? I worked with those System 800s for a while, and they worked fairly well for me. |

| How about the System 10's? They were always my favorite in the line, most evenly balanced, powerful yet not overbearing bass. (8's are good too)
