Alternatives to Mutronics Mutator Analog Filter?

Can anyone recommend an analog filter similar to the sound of the Mutronics Mutator. Is there even such a unit with similar characteristics?

I currently have the Sherman Filterbank which is a little too harsh for me. I am looking for something smoother as I produce Deep House and Electro Funk.

I only own the Line 6 Filter Pro of these models, and it's alright, but I need to check out some of these myself....

Nothing I've used sounds quite like a Mutator. However all of the above options are great in their own right.

Which out of those would do the smoothest "French House" style of filtering?

if you own a filter pro, and any of the hardware it emulates you'll know that it's just a "representation" of that hardware.

I have a filter pro and the electrix filter factory - I couldn't possibly replace the filter factory with the filter pro - but none the less, the filter pro is a nice "utility" piece that offers up a nice bit of variety quickly, and the various tempo sync functions are very handy.

Check out Schippmann's Ebbe&Flut filter. The best modern day analog filter imo. Expensive too though, and mono.
