new buzz in one of my monitors

I noticed tonight that one of my Event ASP 8 monitors was buzzing a little. The other one is totally silent. You can hear it very mildly as far as 8-10 feet away.
I disconnected the XLR input and turned it back on, same buzz.
I then unplugged everything else that was in the same wall, one by one, and it didn't fix it.
I plugged it into a HumX remover by EB Tech. Didn't fix it.
I then ran an extension cord across the room and plugged it in--no buzz.
I can't have this large extension cord running across the room. Any ideas of what I could do to fix this?

Is all of your gear on one AC mains outlet (or, all on the same circuit breaker)?

Mine is and I have this same buzz in one of my monitors. So I (we) should try dividing our gear up and spread it across the other power outlets in the room?

I found another outlet without buzz. I'll run an extension cord in a less conspicuous place. I figure it was a ground loop?
Still curious, though, because the buzz was new.

I have had two problems with my events recently. One I think was the cable going to them was bad, and was causing a really high buzz (light lighting makes).

It is also having a really weird distortion around ~3khz on the left one now, which really shows up in speach. At first I thought it was the dialogue that I was working with was distorted, but then I checked it in the cans and it was fine! This one is kinda freaking me out.

I'm thinking the events are going on CL soon.
