Thread Starter | So does anybody think they'll ever update protools free to Xp or Win2k?
I'd love to mess around with protools and learn my way around it, just to know I guess, but protools free is still win98 only. Geez! my hardware wont even run on 98, not to mention the idea of using 98 is horrifying

I doubt it...i don' think they need the exposure anymore. They used to get protools free into all the recording schools/colleges for people to use...now those schools buy Mboxes.

good point I'm happy with nuendo, I just would like to know what's going on when I go to a real studio. I still have this forum thumbsup |
