| Gear Head | yamaha pm1800 input transformer
Hi, I'm about to acquire a 24 ch yamaha pm1800 board from a friend's work for free and was looking for any coments from users-I plan to use it in my smallish studio for tracking bands-sending signals to musicians personal mixers, doing a live mix,etc and also to screw around with some external/anogue summing.I've read in the manual that you can add input transformers(yamaha part # IT1800A) easily to the mic/line inputs and was wondering if anyone has tried this or if you have info on other mods/ or transformer options. Thanks, Mike |
