Are you f'n kidding me!? Wow. I was privileged enough to help drum tech for him a couple years back @ the big blues fest in London, ON. Such a great player. Chops and groove for days. RIP.

Words fail me. I can't imagine life without Little Feat, and there is certainly no Little Feat without Richie. The baddest, funkiest, groovinest drummer ever. There is nothing like the Little Feat rhythm section--accept no substitutes.

I saw Little Feat in the Paradiso in Amsterdam two years ago. Although the magic from the early years was simply not there anymore, Richie made it clear that no drummer can follow his footsteps when it comes to creating that Little Feat groove.

He will be badly missed.
