Thread Starter | Recording Vocals and Guitar (electric or acoustic) at the same time? Another question I have, proper way to capture inspired guitarist/vocalist performance? Obviously if the singer/guitar player is playing while singing (even electric) there will be leakage, but there is no denying that the performance of the vocalist is sometime un-reproducible when doing a vocal overdub vs. his/her singing guitar/vocal performance live, as their playing while singing usually has subtle nuances that correspond with their playing….. Thanks! |

| Try a search. This topic was covered recently with some great information on mic placement/patterns and how they used these to separate and capture a great performance. I found the tread for ya... recording acoustic guitar with vocals
