New forum thread style is bogus

Seems like all of the threads I open are in 'threaded' mode...by default.
Puts all of the posts out of order and all of them indexed on the top of the page...No multi-page anymore?
NO more delete threads options either?

Anyone else run into this?

The threads look the same as they ever did to me. Perhaps you tweaked your user cp settings without realising it.

fascinating to realize we could be having a different viewing experience from someone else looking at this same website.

For all I know, some of the people who have said things are the "same" might actually be referring to looking at the 'threaded' mode and that it hasn't changed for them. That is to say it's still threaded and hasn't changed back to the way Rodney thinks is 'normal'.

Show of hands- does anyone here actually have Gearslutz on threaded mode as their default? I am a linear -oldest first. Though now that I am looking at my options, I am tempted to try newest first and see how it feels...

I wonder if the site admin could tell what percentage of users have what settings in their CP?

Thanks all!!

But I still have trouble....

I have checked the options...Linear Oldest first has always been my default...but now, even if I change it (back to Linear Oldest First) it reverts back to 'threaded' mode EVERY post I click on...

Crazy...

It is hard to read threads this way...LOL!!

Maybe I should clear cookies...try it all over? I even reset my user control panel settings..and still.....

I need medication....
