RTAS Instruments in PT LE

Okay, Here's a simple one.

Does Pro Tools LE support multi channel Instruments?

Take BFD for example, In Nuendo when you bring up the VST it creates the channels on the mixer (Kick, Snare, Etc.). In PT you have to instuantiate it on an aux track (stereo or mono). Is there a way to route the other instruments/parts outputs to other tracks or do you have to mute parts in the instrument and bounce them one at a time onto other audio tracks?

Stupid question I know, I just recently started using midi in PT after years of audio editing. I guess you kinda forget it's there.

Thanks

BFD with ProTools LE

From what I remember in the manual, you must use rewire to get multiple outs with BFD. Should be in the front portion of the manual that comes with the software.

I thought multiple outs with bfd was possible from 6.9 onwards (not needing rewire)

Yes, multiple outs are now possible in PTLE.

I've mentioned this before, but I'll mention it here;

I tried running BFD as an RTAS, and it was fine on my machine, but it did take the cpu meter pretty high, relatively speaking. It runs much more efficiently as a ReWire device. Not that we were discussing BFD...

Something about the buffer sizes, though.

Well that would make sense, I am still @ 6.7. I think I am going to upgrade to 7 within a couple of weeks, I guess that will solve my issue.

Thanks again.
